Mid-Level Legal Counsel - Corporate & Commercial (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive Mid-Level Legal Counsel to join our team at Welltech. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and support our corporate and commercial operations across multiple jurisdictions. As a Mid-Level Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our legal documentation and compliance processes are robust and effective.

What You'll Do

• Support cross-border corporate and governance work, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with key tech platforms.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams within cross-functional projects across Europe, Ukraine, the UK, and the US.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal support on corporate and commercial questions for key jurisdictions.
• Manage day-to-day legal tasks, including corporate housekeeping and employment-related documentation support.
• Identify and flag legal and commercial risks in contracts and corporate actions, proposing pragmatic mitigations.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with typically 4–6 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Solid experience working on cross-border corporate matters, particularly involving Europe, the UK, and the US.
• Hands-on experience with English-law-governed contracts and corporate documents.
• Fluency in English at minimum C1 level; other languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a high degree of business acumen.

Nice to Have

• In-house experience in a tech product-led company.
• Experience with shareholders’ agreements and complex corporate documents under English law.
• Familiarity with the business/legal environment in Ukraine and/or Poland.
