Mid-Level Full Stack Front-End Web Developer - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Mid-Level Full Stack Front-End Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Xapo Bank. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while making a significant impact in the world of FinTech. As a Full Stack Front-End Web Developer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to provide economic freedom and wealth protection through innovative technology.

What You'll Do

• Develop new user-facing features that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Build reusable code and components based on existing project standards.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of designs from a visual and experience standpoint.
• Contribute to optimizing application performance by implementing established best practices for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal UI tools for team members.
• Support website optimization efforts and standards.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of the latest trends, best practices, and standards in web development.
• Strong experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, particularly Angular and React.
• Solid understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
• Proficiency in Front-end JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS/Tailwind.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, SPA, and SSG.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Lokalise.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub.
• Experience with automated testing using Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Good knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
