Mid-Level DevOps Engineer - Remote Position
About the Role
We’re hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building, maintaining, and scaling our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer remote, you’ll ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and highly available, enabling fast and efficient software delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline our deployment processes.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Improve infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices across the board.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support software releases and deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve them effectively.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enhance our automation capabilities.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps.
- Experience with high-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
