Methods Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Methods Engineer to join our team at Bouygues Construction Australia. This Methods Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, construction, and delivery of nation-shaping projects across civil infrastructure, engineering, and energy services. With over 25 years of local experience backed by significant global expertise, you will play a crucial role in developing construction methods that are practical, effective, efficient, and economical.
What You'll Do
- Develop construction methods based on available information, including site conditions and design specifications.
- Draw up the structural works execution schedule and preparation schedule for methods and plant.
- Participate in technical and price studies for various construction solutions.
- Set execution methods in line with the project schedule and quality-safety-environment rules.
- Conduct studies regarding site installations and lifting equipment.
- Determine all plant resources needed for concreting and safety, including formwork and lifting equipment.
- Provide monitoring and inspection of manufacturers of special plant/equipment.
- Manage the Methods technicians/engineers and draughtsmen/women.
Requirements
- Engineering degree.
- Up to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
- Technical knowledge and a profit-minded approach.
- Methodical, authoritative, attentive, and responsible.

- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
