Marketing Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Intern - Remote to join Smile Train, where you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to raise awareness about cleft care across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. As a Marketing Intern, you will be involved in various initiatives that contribute to our nonprofit's impact and outreach.

What You'll Do

• Support partner hospitals in developing effective communication strategies to enhance awareness of cleft care.
• Coordinate meetings with partners to understand local needs and tailor outreach initiatives accordingly.
• Assist in outreach initiatives aimed at increasing patient awareness and engagement.
• Contribute to the development of brand guidelines for treatment centers to ensure consistent messaging.
• Organize focus groups to gather community feedback and insights.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of marketing materials to support outreach efforts.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on activities to track the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
• Develop a detailed activity plan aligned with project goals to ensure timely execution of initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Interest in social impact and nonprofit communications.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Experience in brand management or media relations is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
