Marketing Data Science Manager - Remote Contract

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Data Science Manager (MMM) remote to join our team at Myticas Consulting. This is a 100% remote contract position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients and industries. You will leverage your expertise in data science and marketing analytics to drive actionable insights and optimize marketing performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deploy predictive and statistical models to evaluate marketing performance, including media mix modeling and churn analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate modeling results into clear business insights and recommendations that drive growth and ROI.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders through effective storytelling and visualization techniques.
• Build and maintain scalable analytics pipelines using Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Support ongoing model performance monitoring and iterative improvements to ensure optimal marketing strategies.
• Lead projects, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet business objectives and are delivered on time.
• Conduct cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder meetings, and provide documentation and internal training.
• Assist with ad-hoc data requests and data exploration to enhance business knowledge models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics and data science, preferably in B2C sectors such as education, retail, or e-commerce.
• Hands-on experience with tROAS models, geo experiments, and incrementality tests.
• Strong analytical and technical skills combined with business acumen.
• Experience presenting MMM outputs to executives and adjusting models based on feedback.
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with media agencies and MMM ownership.
• Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker, EC2, Terraform, and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of audience targeting and spend optimization strategies.
