About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Market Manager to join Neighbors Credit Union in a remote capacity. As a Market Manager, you will be a brand ambassador, guiding our mission and service standards while providing exceptional service to our members. This role is pivotal in managing branch operations, community development, and member relationships, ensuring our members feel valued and supported.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all functions and staff at the branch, ensuring profitability, sales, and member experience are prioritized.
  • Act as the primary contact for community and small business relationships, fostering connections that benefit our credit union.
  • Develop and maintain a diversified loan portfolio, leading member lending activities and managing the loan pipeline effectively.
  • Implement and execute organizational sales and marketing strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
  • Coach and develop team members, creating an inclusive culture that values each individual's contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with credit union regulations and operational integrity, protecting our members' assets.
  • Communicate key information regarding policies and procedures to the branch team, providing necessary training and support.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives to strengthen our presence and relationships within the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience managing a branch or department in the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in small business lending and outside business development.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent member service skills and a commitment to ethical practices.
  • Knowledge of state and federal credit union compliance regulations.
  • Ability to manage risk and maintain operational integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.

  • Experience in leadership roles within community organizations.
