About the Role

Skin + Me is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/React remote) to join our innovative team. What You'll Do

• Utilize agentic tools to navigate, plan, refactor, and ship features across our Python/React stack, significantly increasing your technical leverage.
• Architect and deploy end-to-end features, managing backend logic, database schemas, and modern frontend experiences.
• Help define our AI-native development standards and mentor the team on high-velocity delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
• Continuously improve our development processes and contribute to the evolution of our engineering practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong command of Python and its web development frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, and ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a solid understanding of frontend design systems.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience in the health tech industry or related fields.
• Knowledge of AI tools and their application in software development.
• Previous experience in a start-up environment.
