Procurement Assistant - Remote Opportunity with NHS Supply Chain

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Procurement Assistant - Remote position within the NHS Supply Chain. This role is integral to our Commercial Diagnostic, Equipment, and Services team, where you will be responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring high-quality service delivery to our stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Support the end-to-end procurement process while achieving specific procurement goals.
• Gather and report on contract performance and assist in the new contract process.
• Conduct research and prepare documents using standard office software.
• Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and provide insights to senior colleagues.
• Engage with stakeholders by arranging meetings and events to foster collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance when required.
• Previous experience in a commercial or medical equipment environment is a plus.

Nice to Have

• CIPS qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in contract management tasks.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and draw appropriate conclusions.
