Manufacturing Line Planner - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Manufacturing Line Planner to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Manufacturing Line Planner, your primary responsibility will be to enhance manufacturing performance and develop efficient production lines. You will play a crucial role in planning and optimizing cutting-edge frontend technologies, ensuring that our operations are future-ready.
What You'll Do
- Drive operational efficiency by leading optimization initiatives using tools such as value-stream analysis.
- Deliver process improvements that reduce waste and increase throughput in our manufacturing processes.
- Plan and implement production processes for both current and future product generations, ensuring a seamless workflow.
- Create production plans, process flows, and layouts, while conducting line balancing for optimal efficiency.
- Coordinate sample builds and ensure on-time, high-quality execution of production plans.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of PFMEA and Control Plans to secure process stability and reduce risks.
- Train colleagues in essential planning and optimization methods to strengthen plant capabilities.
Requirements
- A degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in an electronics production environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
- Advanced English proficiency is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
- A process-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
