About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Manufacturing - Remote to join our dynamic team at adidas. In this role, you will be a key player in Global Sourcing, driving our vision to be the most agile, competitive, digitalized, and cleanest supply base in the industry. As a Manager, Manufacturing - Remote, you will oversee the achievement of quality and production goals in our supply partners’ facilities while supporting other functions to reach adidas’ objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Independently manage all aspects of production, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Escalate critical issues and facilitate problem-solving discussions to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Manage relationships with factory management to apply the right resources, processes, tools, and strategies for operational excellence.
  • Implement adidas best practices and directions in responsible factories.
  • Influence factory production and quality middle management to drive change and achieve production objectives.
  • Make day-to-day decisions within defined scope through exception management, evaluating risks, and seeking support on complex issues.
  • Validate and confirm T1 capacity offers and follow up on availability performance when constraints exist.
  • Ensure compliance with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, standards, and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of production and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ability to provide effective input into projects with a quality-first mindset.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to address root cause issues.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
