What You'll Do

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.
• Repair and maintain physical structures, machinery, and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment for metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair wooden structures and components.
• Monitor and report any safety violations to supervisors.
• Interpret blueprints and technical instructions for machinery setup.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts and platform lifts as needed.
• Experience with automated machinery and programmable controllers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
• Ability to work in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts.

Nice to Have

• Industrial Maintenance Certificate or journeyman certificate.
• Experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
