Machine Learning Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team at UC Gill Tract Community Farm. This remote Machine Learning Engineer position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects across Germany and Europe. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines, collaborating with a diverse team of data scientists and engineers.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to optimize models for performance and scalability.
• Implement and manage MLOps workflows, including CI/CD for ML.
• Integrate ML models into production systems and APIs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in machine learning or AI roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and Airflow.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with deploying machine learning models in production.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
