About the Role

We are excited to offer a Machine Learning Engineer Intern remote position at Gemmo AI, a dynamic startup focused on Machine Learning and Computer Vision. This internship is designed for candidates aiming for a full-time ML engineering role, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Work on Machine Learning solutions for financial services, tackling prediction models and document analysis.
• Contribute to Computer Vision pipelines in pharmaceutical environments, focusing on object tracking and behavior understanding.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and engage directly with enterprise clients from day one.
• Build Machine Learning models using financial data and design CRUD APIs to interact with users.
• Deploy and maintain applications in Azure and Snowflake, ensuring robust performance.

Requirements

• Experience with training custom ML models using PyTorch and XGBoost.
• Familiarity with API development and relational databases.
• Good understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• B2+ English proficiency is mandatory.
• Knowledge of running Machine Learning inference jobs with PyTorch or ONNX is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience interacting with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini) via API calls.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS.

• Compensation of €830 gross/month with a total of €5,000 over 6 months.
• Relocation bonus of €3,000 gross to support your move to Milan.
