About the Role

Welocalize is seeking a Life Sciences Translator (Papiamento to English) remote to join our dynamic team. This freelance position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world while focusing on translating pharmacy-related documents for leading pharmaceutical providers. As a Life Sciences Translator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and high-quality translations that meet the standards of the pharmaceutical industry.

What You'll Do

• Translate and proofread pharmacy-related documents from Papiamento to English (UK).
• Manage an expected word volume of 500 to 1,000 words per week.
• Utilize CAT tools to enhance translation efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with a global team of professionals based on your availability.
• Ensure all translations adhere to industry standards and client specifications.

Requirements

• Strong command of both Papiamento and English is required.
• A degree in translation or a related field is necessary.
• At least two years of relevant experience in Life Sciences translation.
• Experience using CAT tools is preferred, with a license for XTM CAT tool provided.
• Minimum three years of experience in translation and copyediting.
