Level 2 Cloud Engineer - AWS & Linux (Relocation to Singapore)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Level 2 Cloud Engineer (AWS & Linux) to join our dynamic team at Jumpstart Disruptive Innovations (JDI). As a Level 2 Cloud Engineer, you will provide essential support for Windows Server and Linux systems, manage AWS services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide L2 support for Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, S3, EBS, CloudWatch, and SSM.
• Handle network connectivity, VPCs, security groups, and load balancers to maintain a secure and efficient cloud environment.
• Support patching, automation (using PowerShell and Bash), and system hardening to enhance security protocols.
• Work closely with cloud, network, and security teams in a regulated environment to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration.
• Solid knowledge of AWS operations and services.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including VPC, routing, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Bash.
• A problem-solving mindset with strong ownership of tasks and responsibilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications in AWS or related fields.
