Legal Apprentice in Social Law - 1 Year Contract (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Apprentice in Social Law to join our dynamic HR team at Barry Callebaut. This remote position is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in social law while contributing to a leading chocolate and cocoa company. You will be involved in key social agenda projects within a transforming industrial environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct legal monitoring and analysis on social law developments, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
• Perform legal research and analysis, providing benchmarks on various social law topics.
• Assist in disseminating information within the HR team, enhancing awareness of legal updates.
• Support collective agreements projects by preparing negotiation files and drafting agreements.
• Help implement collective agreements in operational settings, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Provide legal support to HR managers and operational managers, addressing various legal inquiries.
• Participate in managing pre-litigation and litigation files related to labor law.
• Contribute to organizing and preparing meetings for employee representative bodies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Law with a focus on practical training.
• Strong foundation in Social Law, with prior internship experience in a corporate setting preferred.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and methodical with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders and motivated to contribute to high-value projects.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).

• Experience in HR-related legal matters.
• Knowledge of French labor laws and regulations.
