About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Web Designer to join our dynamic team at VERB Interactive. This remote Lead Web Designer position allows you to shape the digital experiences that bring brands, destinations, and stories to life online. You will blend strategic insight, conceptual creativity, and hands-on design leadership to craft web platforms that are both intuitive and inspiring.

What You'll Do

• Lead the direction for web initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand identity, user intent, business goals, and client vision.
• Architect concepts that merge narrative-driven design with frictionless usability, creating elevated and modern user experiences.
• Champion UX principles and responsive design best practices, ensuring accessibility and scalable design systems for long-term growth.
• Collaborate with development teams to uphold design integrity and strengthen the product.
• Present creative concepts and rationale with clarity and confidence.
• Conduct live iteration sessions to facilitate the design approval process.
• Guide partners through the digital landscape to unlock their brand's full potential online.
• Stay ahead of digital trends, integrating AI-driven systems, motion design, and emerging technologies into your work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in digital design, particularly in web.
• A portfolio showcasing web-led creative thinking, sophisticated visual design, and thoughtful user experience.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Mastery of modern design tools, particularly Figma.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex digital ideas into compelling narratives.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish without hand-offs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion design and interactive patterns.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and practices.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles.
