Director of Engineered Solutions - Remote Role

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Engineered Solutions to join Westinghouse Electric Company in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of nuclear energy, where innovation and expertise are at the forefront. As the Director, you will oversee the full life cycle of the sales process related to the EMEA Engineering Services segment, which now includes the EMEA Training and Resource Solutions products and services. You will be accountable for delivering approximately $132 million in orders for 2026, with a clear path for growth in subsequent years.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of Commercial Managers and Engineers, driving capture strategies and engaging with Market Development and Customer Solution Management.
• Negotiate directly with customers to finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with all relevant Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC) teams.
• Develop and maintain technical and sales knowledge to support the entire region's portfolio needs.
• Oversee the Capture Strategy for opportunities, identifying bundling opportunities and coordinating products to present customer-oriented solutions.
• Manage opportunities within the customer relationship management tool and distribute targets to sales managers.
• Facilitate negotiations with consortium partners and ensure teamwork across all relevant WEC departments.
• Lead the offer processes for significant levels of LOA, presenting to key stakeholders to ensure offerings meet objectives.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience working with Nuclear Utilities.
• Deep understanding of Westinghouse technologies and capabilities, with over 5 years of experience managing teams in challenging markets.
• Technical leadership with strong business development skills.
• Experience interfacing with customers at both commercial and technical levels.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level utility members.
• Proven track record of closing deals and understanding customer operations related to Nuclear Plant Operations.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in international markets, particularly EMEA and LATAM.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Utility buying processes.
