Lead/​Senior Software Developer - Mainapp Platform Team

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead/Senior Software Developer - Mainapp Platform Team to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. As a Lead/Senior Software Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various venture projects that are adjacent to our core businesses. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to contribute to a platform that serves over 100 million active users globally.

What You'll Do

• Take full ownership of product development from planning to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Backend, Frontend, and QA developers.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and testing methodologies.
• Encourage innovation in application development, particularly in Workflow Automation tools.
• Continuously evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to optimize processes and code quality.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
• Support existing applications by fixing bugs and responding to customer issues.
• Establish root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns to the appropriate internal engineers.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of experience in server-side programming languages.
• 2+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails or similar web MVC frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Ability to embrace the open-source community and contribute positively.
• Fast learner with a “get things done” mentality.
• Humble and open to feedback, eager to improve processes and outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable for your work.
• Experience working under pressure and a strong desire for self-improvement.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Experience with domain-driven microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with zero downtime CI/CD principles.
• Understanding of AWS products and DevOps processes.
• Experience with third-party monitoring platforms like Datadog or AWS Cloudwatch.
