Lead Python Developer - Data-Driven Solutions (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Python Developer - Remote to join our team and build data-driven solutions focusing on risk and data management. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid work, allowing you to work from home two days a week while collaborating with your team in the office for three days. As a Lead Python Developer, you will be instrumental in developing robust applications and handling large datasets, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our data processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain applications using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Utilize SQL and Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas to manage and analyze data effectively.
• Support the implementation of credit risk models, including PD, EAD, LGD, and RAROC.
• Apply software engineering best practices and design principles to deliver maintainable code.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on OOP and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Python libraries like NumPy and Pandas.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and cloud concepts.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of credit risk concepts (PD, EAD, LGD, RAROC).
• Experience in data management and model implementation.
• A background in financial services or regulated environments.
