Lead Data Analyst - Remote E-commerce Leadership Role
About the Role

What You'll Do
- Analyze key metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), conversion rates, and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend budget reallocations to optimize marketing efforts.
- Support marketing experiments including A/B testing and channel optimization to enhance performance.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker to visualize data insights.
- Translate complex business questions into structured analyses that drive actionable insights.
- Automate recurring reporting processes to minimize manual work and improve efficiency.
- Provide leadership with weekly and monthly performance insights that highlight risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Ensure data cleanliness and structure, aligning KPI definitions and maintaining consistent reporting logic.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence, ideally within direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce or consumer brands.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Hands-on experience with key metrics such as CAC, LTV, funnel metrics, and marketing performance analysis.
- Experience supporting business decisions rather than just reporting data.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to experimentation methodologies, particularly A/B testing.
- Basic knowledge of predictive modeling techniques (e.g., LTV, churn forecasting).
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams to drive data-informed strategies.
