Lead Consultant – QA Playwright - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Lead Consultant – QA Playwright to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, following BDD principles with Cucumber. What You'll Do

• Design and develop automation test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to enhance test automation.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks for improved efficiency.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure CI/CD integration of automation scripts for seamless deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript is essential.
• Strong understanding of BDD concepts and experience with Cucumber.
• Proven experience in writing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of the software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
