About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at ILUNION Hotels. This Kitchen Assistant remote role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment while ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, supporting our chefs, and ensuring a high standard of food preparation.

What You'll Do

• Perform cleaning tasks for kitchen utensils and machinery, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Transport supplies from the pantry and store goods in designated areas.
• Assist in the preparation of food items, including washing, cutting, peeling, and preparing vegetables.
• Provide necessary utensils to chefs as required.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen supervisors to support daily kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Must possess a disability certificate of 33% or higher.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
