Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our team at Savance. What You'll Do

• Participate actively in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Research and troubleshoot software issues by examining code and understanding its functionality.
• Create plans to address software defects or issues after gathering information from support and customers.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Assist in the estimation and planning of software development tasks.
• Work on multiple projects while maintaining important priorities.
• Write and refine technical documentation, including customer guides and developer documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of development experience with C#, WinForms or WPF, OOP, and multithreading applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database designs.
• 3+ years of development experience with ASP.Net, Angular, Web API, and Restful web services.
• 3+ years of knowledge in GIT and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• A portfolio demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and VB/C#/ASP.Net.
• Mobile experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in technical support or customer service.
• Experience with the entire development cycle of critical business software.
