About the Role
We are seeking a talented Java Software Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at CIMSOLUTIONS. This position offers the exciting opportunity to migrate immediately to The Netherlands, where you will work on innovative software development projects for renowned clients. As a Java Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in translating customer requirements into robust software solutions using Java technologies, including JEE (Java Enterprise Edition).
What You'll Do
- Engage in challenging assignments and innovative software development projects.
- Translate customer requirements into software solutions using Java technologies.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.
- Contribute to various projects as a Java specialist or team lead based on your experience.
- Utilize frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JSF to enhance software functionality.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers within the team.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience as a Java Software Engineer remote, with a strong understanding of Java technologies.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse and IntelliJ, as well as version control systems like Git and Subversion.
- Preferably Java certified and experienced in Object-Oriented Development.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
- A valid driver's license.
- Experience with testing frameworks is an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Unix, Linux, AIX, and z/OS environments.
- Experience with Continuous Delivery/Integration and Safe methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, client-oriented attitude.
