Java Developer - Remote Position at Meritis

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our dynamic team at Meritis. This Java Developer remote position allows you to work in an agile environment while contributing to exciting international projects. You will play a key role in evolving and maintaining our product based on the needs expressed by our team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Conduct technical, functional, and regression testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Document all developments, including code, release notes, and specifications.
• Estimate workloads for requested developments and provide necessary support for software integration, validation, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and performance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Bac+5) or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Good knowledge of Git for version control.
• Familiarity with frontend languages (Angular) and AWS services is a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English (minimum B2 level).
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Participation in coding competitions or hackathons.
