About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team at Bob's Red Mill. What You'll Do
- Configure and maintain computer systems, networks, and related hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving network connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various interdepartmental projects.
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, documenting and tracking issues in our ticketing system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and user guides.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our systems are secure and efficient.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Must hold or plan to complete professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSA.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
- Basic knowledge of IP-based network routing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot VoIP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Nutanix solutions.
- Basic PowerShell skills.
- Experience with Cisco solutions.
