About the Role

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team at Bob's Red Mill. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that all hardware, software, and network systems operate smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Configure and maintain computer systems, networks, and related hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving network connectivity problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various interdepartmental projects.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, documenting and tracking issues in our ticketing system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and user guides.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our systems are secure and efficient.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in IT support or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Must hold or plan to complete professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSA.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic knowledge of IP-based network routing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot VoIP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Nutanix solutions.
  • Basic PowerShell skills.
  • Experience with Cisco solutions.
