IT Audit Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As an IT Audit Manager, you will take full responsibility for IT audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead audit teams and engage with top management, making a significant impact on our organization.

What You'll Do

• Oversee end-to-end IT audits, planning them with a risk-oriented approach.
• Present audit results to management, ensuring clarity and relevance.
• Lead audit teams and manage complex audits, including external auditors.
• Analyze and evaluate modern IT landscapes, including cloud platforms and interfaces.
• Assess the effectiveness of governance, controls, and regulatory compliance (e.g., DORA, MaRisk, EU AI Act).
• Review critical outsourcing and ICT service providers.
• Act as an independent sparring partner within the bank, especially regarding cloud, digitalization, and AI.
• Utilize data analytics and modern, AI-supported auditing methods.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in IT, IT auditing, or IT consulting.
• Experience leading complex audits or projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (DORA, MaRisk, EU AI Act).
• Understanding of modern IT architectures (e.g., cloud, APIs).
• Ability to present complex issues clearly and persuasively.
• Proficient in both German and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with AI technologies in auditing.
• Certifications in IT auditing (e.g., CISA, CISM).
