iOS Developer - Remote Contract Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced iOS Developer remote to join our dynamic team on a 100% remote contract basis. This role is ideal for a developer with a strong background in native iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, who is eager to contribute to high-profile projects for well-known brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications, ensuring they are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with client specifications. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that meet client specifications and user expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and backend developers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities to enhance app performance and user experience.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL, to ensure seamless data flow.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold code quality and application stability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in iOS development.
• Document development processes, code, and technical specifications for future maintenance and updates.
• Ensure all applications are compliant with security standards and best practices for mobile development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in native iOS development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, SDKs, and best practices for mobile development.
• Experience with React Native is a plus, demonstrating versatility in cross-platform development.
• Knowledge of RESTful API integration and working with GraphQL.
• Version control experience using Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
