Intermediate Network Administrator for UAV Operations

About the Role

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Network Administrator for UAV Operations to join our team in Fargo, ND. As a Network Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Air National Guard's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations, ensuring the integrity and performance of vital communication networks.

What You'll Do

• Analyze, administer, and maintain voice and video data communications networks.
• Ensure network security and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral and related equipment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
• Lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
• Interface with vendors to resolve network outages or performance issues.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
• Provide local on-call support and manage network components of a global information system.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Two (2+) years of directly related experience in network administration.
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security).
• Experience with network installations and upgrades.
• Computing Environment certification in Windows Server or similar technology within 6 months of hire.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of VMware NSX or CISCO VXLAN.
• Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
