About the Role

We are seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive - Remote to join our team at Waste Management. This position allows you to work from home while supporting the South Atlantic market area. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for both acquiring new business and retaining existing accounts, making this a dynamic and rewarding role.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management in your assigned territory.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to align Waste Management products and services with customer needs.
  • Negotiate and renew customer service agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Proactively manage a book of business, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other sales productivity tools to track performance and manage accounts effectively.
  • Prepare reports and handle administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1 year of experience with Waste Management or 5 years in business-to-business account management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Proficient in time management and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the waste management or environmental solutions industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
