HR Generalist - Remote Position at New Era Technology

About the Role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team at New Era Technology. This HR Generalist remote position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about human resources and want to make a significant impact in a global IT services company. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for administering daily HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting our diverse workforce.

What You'll Do

• Administer daily functions of the HR department including onboarding, offboarding, and personnel changes.
• Answer employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
• Participate in new hire orientation and other employee programs.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files and records.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers.
• Perform periodic audits of HR files and records.
• Provide support for HR programs and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (SHRM-CP, etc.) are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
