Host - Restaurant Operations
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Host to join our restaurant team in Franklin, Tennessee. As a Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to our guests. This is a part-time, onsite position where you will be responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining a welcoming environment. What You'll Do
- Oversee Open Table reservations and create a daily game plan for seating arrangements.
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.
- Train new employees in host responsibilities and best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and restrooms.
- Handle inquiries regarding private events and assist management with guest relations.
- Answer incoming phone calls and check voicemails promptly.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills to address guest concerns professionally.
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Knowledge of Teamwork and Toast POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Food Handlers Card, ABC Service Certification, and CPR/First Aid training preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
