Health & Safety Advisor - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will work closely with various divisions, providing essential health and safety administration assistance and support. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a safer workplace while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Engage and coach operational leaders and workforce in physical and psychosocial risk reduction.
• Provide thought leadership and evidence-based advice to operations.
• Champion safety at H&S meetings and facilitate internal audits and risk assessments.
• Deliver data-driven safety performance reports and insights.
• Facilitate the development and delivery of safety training and communication materials.
• Anticipate future scenarios and update our understanding of related risks.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or Risk Management.
• Experience in a similar Health & Safety Advisory role within mining or heavy industry.
• Proven experience in facilitating ICAM Incident Investigations.
• Training or Business improvement qualifications (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Experience in developing and facilitating workshops.

Nice to Have

• Experience in coaching leaders and workforce.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in health and safety.
• Familiarity with environmental management systems.
