Head of Partnerships - FinTech
About the Role
UMO is seeking a Head of Partnerships - FinTech to join our innovative team in the United Arab Emirates. As the Head of Partnerships, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our AI-powered money platform. This position is not remote, and you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of over 100 professionals from more than 20 nationalities. Your leadership will be pivotal in establishing strategic collaborations that enhance our core product capabilities in the fintech landscape.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners essential for product development and service launch.
- Lead partnerships across various sectors, including banks, payment systems, liquidity providers, and blockchain networks.
- Own the full partner lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to negotiations and ongoing relationship management.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to facilitate partner integrations.
- Manage partner performance, escalations, and contract renewals to optimize our partner stack.
- Continuously assess market alternatives to enhance cost efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within fintech, banking, or crypto.
- Strong understanding of banking models, payment ecosystems, and blockchain technologies.
- Proven experience in negotiating complex partnership agreements.
- International experience with a focus on the UAE and GCC markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Proven expertise in Partnership Management with a strong background in negotiating complex agreements within FinTech, particularly in Blockchain and Payment Systems, to drive strategic collaborations.
