Head of Operations - Counter-Intrusion Technology

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operations, Counter-Intrusion to join our team at Anduril Industries. This is a unique opportunity to lead operations in a cutting-edge defense technology company. As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in transforming military capabilities through advanced technology. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do

• Drive day-to-day business operations for the Counter-Intrusion business line, ensuring operational excellence.
• Collaborate with division leadership to redesign and implement processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage financial analysis, new business cases, and product launches, contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with teams across program management, engineering, production, and G&A to solve complex problems.
• Project manage large stakeholder groups, translating strategic goals into actionable execution plans.
• Own operational projects from definition to implementation, tackling ambiguous challenges with innovative solutions.
• Leverage data from business systems (ERP, MRP) to conduct analyses and provide insights for process improvement.
• Support the growth team in defining and formalizing the operational execution plan for the business line.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in an operating role at a high-growth technology company, finance, or consulting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on people-centric solutions.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with a detail-oriented approach.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• High ownership and low ego, with a strong outcome orientation.
• Experience in robotics or hardware products is preferred.
• MBA or similar degree is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
