About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven marketing leader to join us as the Head of Marketing. This remote position is an exciting opportunity to transform our growth model into a marketing-led engine that drives Top of Funnel (TOFU) growth. As the Head of Marketing, you will architect and build a sophisticated marketing machine to power our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the transition to a marketing-led growth model by establishing a modern, data-driven marketing engine.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive segmentation and verticalization strategy to deepen relationships with broker partners.
  • Oversee the development of a full-funnel B2B growth engine, ensuring predictable revenue through demand generation and automated lifecycle marketing.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into compelling messaging tailored for specific vertical market segments.
  • Drive B2B2C engagement, ensuring activation and retention of individual members within signed groups.
  • Build a high-authority brand through strategic content that positions HealthJoy as a thought leader in the HealthTech space.
  • Manage a performance-driven budget focused on achieving VC-standard unit economics.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team across various functions, including Performance Marketing and Product Marketing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in leading marketing for high-growth emerging companies.
  • Proven track record of transitioning from a founder-led sales model to a professionalized marketing-driven growth engine.
  • Hands-on experience in building marketing operations infrastructure for demand generation and automated lifecycle marketing.
  • Expertise in product marketing, engagement marketing, and brand content authority.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to connect Product, Sales, and Customer Success for optimized growth.
  • Technologically fluent in architecting a modern go-to-market tech stack.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced startup cultures with a bias for action and rapid iteration.
  • Empathetic brand storyteller with a focus on customer engagement and trust-building.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the employee benefits and broker channel/industry.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience in managing a marketing-sourced pipeline quota.
