Head of Development - AI-Driven Engineering

About the Role

We're hiring a Head of Development to lead our engineering team at Prop Firm Match Global. This remote Head of Development role is pivotal as we scale our platform, which helps traders make informed decisions through comprehensive comparisons and insights. With over 100,000 monthly visitors, our technology organization is at the forefront of innovation in the FinTech space.

What You'll Do

• Own the engineering organization end-to-end, ensuring high-quality code and architectural decisions.
• Lead from the front by actively participating in coding and development processes.
• Integrate AI-assisted workflows, including Claude Code, into every layer of development.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and re-prioritize tasks without friction.
• Anticipate architectural needs and scaling challenges before they arise.
• Drive consistent delivery and maintain a high technical bar for the team.
• Foster a culture of speed, dependability, flexibility, and relentless innovation.
• Collaborate with company leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on leadership roles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Tailwind.
• Experience with AI technologies and DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge engineering and leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and AI-assisted development tools.
• Background in agile methodologies and team management.
• Familiarity with trading platforms or financial technology.
