Head of Communications - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Head of Communications to join our fully remote team at Cloudbeds. As the Head of Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global narrative and elevating Cloudbeds as a leading voice in the hospitality technology sector. This is a senior, high-impact position that offers strategic ownership and executive access, allowing you to influence how the industry perceives our brand and solutions.

What You'll Do

• Own Cloudbeds’ global communications strategy, encompassing PR, thought leadership, executive visibility, and industry influence.
• Define our positions on key industry topics, including AI's role in travel booking and hotel operations, and translate them into compelling narratives that align with our brand.
• Lead all company press releases and major announcements, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent.
• Create thought leadership content in collaboration with our Content Marketing team, including bylines, op-eds, and keynote narratives.
• Act as a spokesperson for Cloudbeds during media interviews, podcasts, and industry events.
• Identify and secure high-value speaking opportunities for our executives at major global conferences.
• Prepare executives for external visibility through messaging frameworks and media training.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in communications, PR, or corporate messaging within hospitality, hotel tech, or adjacent B2B SaaS industries.
• A strong network of hospitality media, industry analysts, and influencers.
• Exceptional messaging instincts and the ability to articulate a clear, provocative point of view.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience partnering closely with senior executives and serving as a trusted communications advisor.
