Group Tax Accountant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Group Tax Accountant to support our UK tax compliance cycle and global tax reporting processes. This Group Tax Accountant remote position is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified tax professional looking to broaden their experience across UK and international tax. You will report directly to the Group Tax Manager and assist in tax compliance, tax reporting, and other ad hoc matters across the group.

What You'll Do

• Support the preparation of UK corporation tax returns with BDO, transitioning to in-house processes.
• Assist with Group tax reporting under IFRS, including reviewing tax packs prepared by overseas finance teams.
• Contribute to IFRS tax disclosures and UK & Ireland statutory tax notes.
• Manage IR35, PSA reporting, STBV, certificates of residency, and corporate tax payments.
• Support international tax compliance across CFC, Hybrid Mismatch, DPT, CIR, and CbCR.
• Lead SAO processes, tax governance, documentation, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and external advisers on compliance and ad-hoc tax projects.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent).
• Strong working knowledge of UK corporation tax and solid tax accounting understanding.
• Strong Excel and data-handling skills.
• Experience with Oracle Tax Solutions and Alphatax is beneficial but not critical.
• A collaborative, detail-focused team player eager to learn and develop.
• Demonstrates integrity and operates with honesty and professionalism in all interactions.

• Experience in a multinational company.
• Familiarity with international tax compliance.
• Knowledge of tax software and reporting tools.
