Full-Time Maintenance Technician - Remote Work Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team remotely! As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents. This position requires a strong maintenance background and the ability to manage property upkeep effectively.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and make-readies for all common areas and units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Ensure safety by reporting unsafe conditions and maintaining tools in excellent condition.
• Assist in snow removal and keep grounds neat and free of litter.
• Utilize personal transportation to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors as needed.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in make-ready repairs and services.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; vocational or technical education preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to work on-call shifts and own personal tools.
• HVAC certification and experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of computers and web-based applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically in practical situations.

• Experience in plumbing and electrical work.
