Full-Time ICU Nurse - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are searching for a dedicated Full-Time ICU Nurse to deliver vital care to seriously ill or injured patients in our ICU department. This Full-Time ICU Nurse remote opportunity allows you to leverage your specialized skills while providing essential support to patients in need. As a specialized nurse, you will be highly trained to treat patients who have suffered strokes, heart attacks, trauma, or undergone invasive surgery.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic tests and conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to medical emergencies promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- 2-5 years of experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN).
