Full-Time Groundskeeper - Apartment Community

About the Role

Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Groundskeeper to join our team at the Mission Hill Apartments in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall upkeep of the property landscape and enhancing its exterior image, also known as curb appeal. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $17.50, along with a comprehensive benefits package, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow in the property management industry.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily trash removal from all public exterior areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Engage in lawn mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain the beauty of the property.
• Conduct spring and fall cleanups to prepare the landscape for seasonal changes.
• Manage the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment related to grounds work.
• Assist with light tree and bush trimming as needed.
• Support maintenance staff with various tasks, including preventative maintenance and preparing apartments for new tenants.
• Handle snow removal when applicable to ensure safe access during winter months.
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency cell phone coverage rotation with team members.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Able to work at multiple locations as needed.
• General knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping practices.
• Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment.
• This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening.
