Head of Service Marine - Remote Position in Northern Europe

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Service Marine to join PALFINGER, a global leader in crane and lifting solutions. This remote position allows you to lead our Service Region across Northern Europe, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. As the Head of Service Marine, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainable growth and enhancing our service delivery across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Oversee regional operations and service delivery to align with corporate strategy and industry standards.
• Take full P&L responsibility for the region, leading initiatives to enhance profitability and optimize resource use.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus.
• Drive strategic regional growth by identifying new opportunities in emerging Northern European markets.
• Collaborate with service offices and product lines to maximize customer satisfaction and service readiness.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Marine Operations (minimum 10 years, with at least 5 in leadership roles).
• Educational background in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations and cultures.
• Strong business acumen with experience in budget management and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, customer-centric mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the maritime industry or related fields.
• Familiarity with advanced marine and offshore products.
• Multilingual abilities to enhance regional communication.
