About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team at Numeo. This Full Stack Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to build and maintain backend services while occasionally working on the frontend using technologies like React, TypeScript, and MUI. You will play a crucial role in designing scalable and secure backend infrastructure, implementing state management, and writing optimized JavaScript/TypeScript code to enhance performance.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain backend services with occasional frontend work (React, TypeScript, MUI).
  • Design scalable, secure backend infrastructure.
  • Implement state management (Context API, Redux, Zustand) and reusable React hooks.
  • Write clean, optimized JavaScript/TypeScript and improve performance.
  • Collaborate closely and communicate progress proactively.

Requirements

  • 1+ year for Junior level, 4+ years for Mid level of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Node.js and React skills.
  • Some experience with modern LLMs.
  • Ownership mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Cloud experience (GCP for compute/storage, Azure for inference).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with observability tools.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
