Full Stack Developer (PHP) - Remote Contract Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (PHP) - Remote to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely while contributing to exciting projects in the entertainment industry. As a Full Stack Developer, you will leverage your deep PHP expertise to support a short-term project, collaborating with a dynamic team to build and maintain features in a custom MVC-style PHP application.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features in a custom MVC-style PHP application.
• Work across the stack (backend + frontend) to deliver clean, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve existing systems.
• Collaborate via Git workflows and pull requests.
• Integrate a third-party SSO provider and extend user authentication flows.
• Design and prototype scalable solutions within an existing system.

Requirements

• Strong PHP experience (4+ years) and MySQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows (gitflow or similar).
• Frontend skills: ES6 JavaScript, HTML5, CSS (SASS is a plus).
• Comfortable working in Linux (CLI/Bash experience is a plus).
• Ability to debug and extend complex systems independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with prototyping and designing scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of additional frontend frameworks.
• Experience in the entertainment technology sector.
