We are seeking a Freelance Senior Linguist specializing in Marketing & Life Sciences to join our dynamic team. As a Freelance Senior Linguist, you will be responsible for translating and copy editing content in specific subject matter areas, ensuring high-quality multilingual content transformation.

What You'll Do

  • Translate and copy edit marketing and life sciences content to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.
  • Utilize your expertise in Investigator facing, Patient facing, and Pharmacy material to deliver top-notch translations.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Employ CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, and Trados to enhance translation efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and client requirements throughout the translation process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in translation and copy editing, particularly in marketing and life sciences.
  • Native level expertise in Somali with a strong cultural understanding.
  • Professional proficiency in English (US/GB).
  • Familiarity with CAT tools like XTM, Phrase, and Trados.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Translation degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
