About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance LQA Game Tester (Thai) - Remote to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be the first to experience the localized game, ensuring it is free from errors and accurately localized into Thai. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on top gaming titles for leading publishers while collaborating with a global project team.

What You'll Do

• Identify and correct language errors in localized games.
• Ensure adherence to console guidelines throughout the testing process.
• Log errors and provide constructive improvement suggestions.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and imagery across all game content.
• Write detailed reports on errors and perform ad hoc translations as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse, multi-lingual workforce.
• Utilize your strong cultural understanding of the Thai language to enhance localization quality.
• Engage in regular communication with team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Fluency in Thai and conversational English is essential.
• Strong cultural understanding of the Thai language and its nuances.
• Computer literacy, particularly with Excel and other relevant software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Robust Internet research skills to aid in localization tasks.
• No prior experience required, making this an ideal entry-level position.
