Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) - German Speaking
About the Role
We're hiring a Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our innovative team at Rally. In this role, you will help shape the future of fleet payments across Europe while working remotely or in our Berlin office. As a key player in our sales team, you will focus on German-speaking accounts and develop your sales skills in a supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound prospecting for German-speaking accounts, including research, list building, and multi-touch outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify incoming and outbound leads against Rally’s ideal customer profile and book high-quality meetings for Account Executives (AEs).
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies for Germany and the DACH region.
- Manage early-stage client relationships to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to provide feedback and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) while improving conversion rates.
- Prepare concise and compelling briefing notes for AEs prior to demos.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including calls made, meetings booked, and qualified pipeline.
- Demonstrate steady improvement in your performance metrics.
Requirements
- Based in Berlin, Germany, with fluent German (spoken and written) at a native or near-native level.
- Strong working proficiency in English (B2+).
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles; first-time SDRs are welcome.
- Possess a coachable, resilient, and metrics-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and engage clients.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection; persistent yet respectful.
Nice to Have
- Interest or background in fleet, logistics, mobility, or payments.
- Previous experience in cold-calling or B2B outreach within DACH markets.
